The time I truly received any experienced a taste of journalism was in high school. I was a freshman, trying to put together my schedule for the following year at the last-minute, only to find that there weren’t too many elective courses that I wanted to take. Thank goodness, I decided to take journalism. Fast-forward to college, in one of my many ‘blog-required’ classes, I decided to take on the high school demographic, specifically those who interested in writing, reporting, but didn’t know any outside resources that would allow them to practice their skills, beyond the classroom.
