That is an excerpt of one of WMJF-TVs shows called “The Outlook.” Besides the newscast or sports, the station tries to broaden its audience spectrum with a show that consists of five women who, executive producer Erika Shych says, touch on many topics.

“It’s a show where students get to talk about issues not only affecting them on campus, but around the country; and they basically just go back and forth and argue. So, it’s kinda fun to watch.”

Shych says, as a freshman, though she may not have the classes that her fellow upperclassmen have taken to produce shows, she is not worried about producing a quality show.

Senior Jason Conti, who is the director of the show says she has no problem with a freshman taking such a big role in producing shows.

“I just forget titles completely and just treat her as a producer and she does a wonderful job. I am very happy with the rundowns. The shows come to perfect thirty minute lengths and I’m just so happy for that. I was like “Oh, it’s going to be over. Nope, she timed it perfectly and it works out.”
