The January issue of Baltimore magazine will be my first magazine as a staff member of the publication. Seeing my name with my title(s) has just confirmed it for me –that I’m really doing this. I’m working in this unpredictable, yet fascinating industry. But, I’m nowhere near being a “success” –at least, that’s what I believe. If I thought that I made it just because my name is in a professional publication, then there will be no progression. I would be satisfied with mediocre –and I’m not one to settle for mediocre. I want to make my mark in this business (yes, that’s what it is). But, I will take every accomplishment and do a little happy dance, then move on to the next challenge. God knows, as long as I keep an open mind, there will be many more obstacles to take on –just bring it.
